Now that my power is back on (16 hours without) I've decided a) electricity is the greatest invention of the modern era, b) I'm addicted to the internets, and c) LIFE IS DAMNED GOOD HERE IN AMERICA
Thanks to all who have served, and are serving. Thanks to all who vote and participate to the fullest in the greatest political success story in the history of our planet----our democracy.
But, everything has it's price.....so as you head off into the holiday weekend, be safe, be smart, and be careful!

Yes Happy 4th to all. I will spend the majority of my weekend drinking a feat I don't oft get to do anymore. T9 in your absence our little bastard child Yahoo Group has risen to 4 members and lots of pictures added. They grow so fast.

The loss of power was a pain, but the storm gave me some good storm damage to photograph for the local paper. Of course, I had to wait for the power to come back on before I could do anything with the pictures...
On this weekend my daughter leaves her home and husband to begin her deployment training. My best to all that have served.
