- Inside Michigan Football with Rich Rodriguez, episode one available here. I miss the Michigan Replay music.
- Rich Rodriguez press conference video is available on line at MGoBlue. RR does not hide his disappointment very well. "Michigan beat Michigan on Saturday."
- Freshman Justin Feagin is going to be redshirted. Who wants to take bets that he will never take a snap at QB for the Wolverines ?
- Jason's little brother Tate makes a verbal commitment. The 2009 recruiting class is looking pretty good, although I would like to see some more offensive linemen sign on the verbal line.
- Very cool 360 stadium panaroma shot from Detroit News.
- Pucker time in Columbus about Beanie's foot. A team insider said that after immediate X-rays showed showed no broken bones, further evaluation indicated it likely was a soft-tissue injury to the forefoot. Such an injury could cause him to miss anything from just a week to the rest of the season. Yikes. If I had to predict the future, he is out against Ohio and in against USC.
- NFL news for former Michigan players. Cuts: Rueben Riley (Panthers), Jamar Adams (Seahawks), Drew Henson and Ron Bellamy (Lions), Victor Hobson and Matt Gutierrez (Patriots), Tony Pape (Chargers), Matt Lentz and Grant Mason (Steelers), Adam Kraus (Ravens), Shantee Orr (Browns), Adam Stenavich (Cowboys), Tim Massaquoi (Bills), Markus Curry (49ers). Adrian Arrington was placed on injured reserve by the Saints. Mike Hart appears to have made the Colts.
- LenDale White doesn't play professional football in Ohio.
- Even in Oklahoma, if you are out past 2AM -- bad things like guns, knives and tire irons will happen.

Good that Hart made it. He's a hell of a player it's just a shame his size is a little small. Van you imagine what he would have been had he been Darren Mcfadden size? I bet he plays in the league for roughly 10 years, retires, then comes back to MI or starts in smaller schools as a coach.
A great picture of the spread offense--it definitely is offensive.
a couple of lazy thoughts about the buffet-
first, why go to the trouble of painting an "M" on your midriff if you're not going to do it right? guy has a gut big enough to put an M the size of the one at midfield and he hand draws one w/ a pen??? wasted opportunity.
second, it was good to hear a coach give an interview w/out using the words "tremendous", "outstanding", or "special" for the first time in 13 years. i thought R2 spoke pretty frankly about the game. Lloyd never lied, but there was often a lot he just wouldn't discuss. i don't get that from the new guy. and...
third, did anyone else have a flashback to "Friday Night Lights" when they saw Wells get hurt in the 3rd quarter after already having run for 100+ yds & a TD, w/ tosu already up 26-0??? interesting mix of opinions here in columbus between tosu fans who still consider tre$$el infalliable and the ones who think he's shown himself human in the last few seasons.
he had 100 yards but more than half was on one carry - i think they wanted to get him 15 or so reps. ironically i'm pretty sure he would have been rested for the remainder of the game as soon as he ran it in on that drive.
hopefully he can go full speed against USC - we're done against them without him, as would most teams without their heisman hopeful running back. after that it's somewhat smooth sailing until 10/4 @ wisconsin
I don't think he plays at USC. Or if he does he will not be 100% so it's rough sailing anyway. I won't lie and say that will disappoint me as I am not one to route for the Buckeyes when they aren't playing MI. But I will try n not rub it in faces as the Utah game was not thrust in mine surprisingly from my coworkers and friends.
