Not a great weekend to be a top 25 football program: USC, Georgia, Florida, Wisconsin (!), Wake Forest all lose. Predicting the BCS at this point of the season is a waste of good oxygen. I am not sold on Oklahoma, Alabama looks strong. This offense will be a lot more fun to watch when we have a quarterback that can run it correctly all the time. I am happy the Threet turned it around in the 4th quarter, but that was painful to watch most of the game.
The much talked about Barwis conditioning program showed up in the 4th quarter. The harder you work, the luckier you get.
Senior Terrance Taylor had some choice words at halftime. When you lose it is a further erosion of family values -- when you comeback and win it is called leadership.
Michael Phelps must have a contract with someone other than Adidas. Note the generic #8 jersey.
Penn State looked good even if I had to watch their HD offense in non-HD - but I don't think they are better than the Bucks.

It's good to see Big Ten teams coming back from the dead. Speaking of resurrection, tOSU is about to do a Troy Smith redux amped up via TP. I would think that that should cause some sleepness nights around the conference.
(I must dream. It's all I have left)
I knew this TP thing was coming sooner rather than later. I keep waiting for him to make some freshman mistakes - but he really has not.
I expect the bucks to roll Wisconsin this week.
I was hoping that Tessell would show a little more loyalty to Boeckman, but that was purely for my own selfish reasons. I can't help but think how good this Michigan team would be this year with TP running this offense. Grrrr.
I'm really down on all the Threet ... mehness.
He's started a total of 4 damn games, in a system he's not familiar with. Give the kid some credit. I'm sure after this season, he will be competent. He's shown flashes of brilliance, and of WTF?. I know that RR is recruiting more mobile QBs, but I for one, refuse to bag on this kid too much. Most of the mistakes come from trying too hard.
I think Threet will be the starter next year, no matter who shows up. RR might do a little Tebow/leak action, especially after "Steve" has a full year in the system.
Definitely think they will do a 2 QB system next year with Threet running the show and break in one or both of the new QBs.In a way I feel bad for Threet cause no matter how good he gets I believe next year is his last year starting for MI and then he either transfers again or takes his chances in the NFL draft.
From what I have seen of the Buckeyes this year I'm not confident in any of their games. They seem to lack some kind of focus and are downplaying their ability. I think they can lose virtually any of their remaining games. I also think that Tressel probably would be more loyal to Boeckman but he is really feeling the pressure in Buck land to win now or start to move on. I stick by my claim of a couple more years of losing to out of conference big teams and no matter how he does against MI Tressel will be on his way out. Nothing lasts forever.

Hammster,
Good analysis. The perfect description of the USC game - at least the part I saw. They looked lost/unfocused. That's a coaching problem. Something has to change besides getting Beanie back and TP in the QB slot.
