Wallpaper Wednesday: Big House of Pancakes

The "off week" version of Wallpaper Wednesday celebrates Michigan's long history of All-American offensive lineman. I call it: Big House of Pancakes.

For as long as I can remember Michigan has been blessed with outstanding offensive lineman. It is as much of a Michigan tradition as the winged helmets or the fight song.

Listed at the bottom are the last names of all the Michigan All American lineman since Bo arrived on campus in 1969, starting with Jake Long and ending with Dan Dierdorf.

I was wondering when the Buckeye contingent would show up. I'm glad you didn't hang yourself....:)

A near miss against THE Ohio Bobcats and a turd in the Coliseum equals 2 weeks of silence from sru.

I guess he is feeling much better against this weeks Trojan opponent.

usc game pretty much sucked

not that it would have mattered in either case but really sucks that we had to play without Ginn against Florida and Beanie against USC. Again it probably doesn't change the final score either way but it certainly makes it easier for an opposing team to game plan when their opponents most dangerous threat isn't in the game.

In the Florida game, once they realized that Ginn wasn't coming back and that Gonzo wasn't a deep threat, they had their safeties all the way up, making it very hard to run and took away any underneath stuff. Against USC, once they realized that Herron and Saine aren't in the same class as Beanie, it allowed them to bring the heat and not worry about the backs breaking the blitz with long runs. Again, in either case the end result probably doesn't change but it would have been nice to be full strength both times.

That being said, if this loss gets Boeckman benched and ushers in the Pryor Era immediately, then I'm ok with it. I've never like Boeckman - watching him is what it must have been like for you guys to watch Navarre. I also hope that this loss forces JT to realize that his playcalling sucks and that he probably should be looking for a new offensive line coach.
