I am also hoping that MSU beats OSU.....and then by some miracle for us to beat MSU.....that could make this season not sting as much!

Is it me or does anyone else have a problem with big ten audio feed? Commercials/ads fine, but can't hear the announcers in the booth (iowa-wisco) over the crowd noise. It's like they have the feed misxed up.

Will someone please tell me Threet was really hurt and Sheridan wasn't Rod's idea of strategy? If not, I'm getting very worried for the future. The ONLY chance we had was with Threet in at QB.
At the very least, show Threet on the sideline with ice on his elbow, otherwise my thoughts go to .....this isn't a rebuilding year, this is the future. Seriously, if RR put Sheridan in for any reason other than Threet was hurt......I have to wonder about him as a coach.
And....is it just me.....but did you all get the feeling that at the end, we just played to lose, rather than at least trying to put a few more points up? The play calling was horrible......this also gives me concern about the coaching. Trust me, I bleed blue and maize, I am truly a homer, but I have serious concerns after this game.
Being a Michigan fan from Central PA, I hate to see the streak come to an end. Hopefully I can wear my Michigan stuff in State College without getting verbally abused. I completely disagree with Coach Rod putting in Sheridan in the 2nd half. I wasn't enthusiastic about Nick Sheridan from day 1 and from reading 'The Wolverine' football preview issue in the summer, I liked what Steven Threet had to offer. I was furious when Nick Sheridan got the start against Utah. Obviously the only reason I could see Coach Rod putting him in was to get some experience for down the road with a hostile environment, etc. but when we have a pretty clear shot and are in the ball game, I would have to agree with what Jim and Catie said and take that as a suspicious and dull move.
Is it just me or did we look fast and together and GOOD the first qtr?! Penn state didn't know what to do with us and then after our TD and their missed fG, we just stalled!! What about Threet handing off to the same guy or at least running the same play 3 times in a row!! None of which worked! I was soooo excited for the team. There is definitely some potential here. Just keep telling myself, "rebuilding, rebuilding".
Indeed kristy, our first possession was the best drive we had all year. I was especially impressed with Brandon Minor. He hasn't come around yet this season and finally proved himself. Great job by him.
