I am hoping that I can get the game today, I am way on the West side of the state visiting my kids and they don't have the overflow BTN and often don't get the games on TV......crossing my fingers!

Yeah, watching this so far has really confirmed for me that D, despite the talented line, is not very good. Looking at our back 7, I'm not sure there is a guy here who would play for psu or tosu. Certainly none the LBs or safeties.
Fortunately, Purude's doesn't look very good today, either.
How ironic is it that Whisky featured their band in their BTN commercial? (Given the suspension of the entire band this year!)
Kids these days, who needs a radio? They have iPods and such.......a radio would work, at least I could hear the game! I have been looking on line for a radio station that carries it, but also trying to write a paper....talk about multi tasking......also hoping Whisky holds it together to beat sparty.
Threet is apparently on one of his "good days." The D is still pretty lackluster. I don't see how Brandon Graham comes back next season. He looks like an easy late first rounder second round draft pick. he's a beast out there. I don't understand why the coverage is playing off the receivers so much. That's a coaching decision and I just don't see why they're doing that unless they have no confidence in the players. Which I can understand to a point.

Time of possession is significantly more for Purdue, the D can't be that tired yet, after all they have chocolate milk on their side right? The majority of incomplete passes by Purdue are undefended.......
Brutal defensive mistakes. That interference call may have been technically correct, but there's no way he would have made a play there. Ugh, I guess that makes it even worse.
I really thought this would be a low scoring game (given that both team's offense sucks) it really speaks to both team's defense! Good grief, this is a game of who sucks more, us or them.

I have the BTN for live stats, similar to Game Cast on ESPN. They aren't streaming it though. I checked out Goblue.com and can't find the link for the live stream either.
I am enjoying the Wisconsin/Sparty game, Sparty can't get their offense going yet......here is hoping that they don't get it going for the rest of the game!
Sic, I think that is one of the things that is disappointing about this season, I really thought that our D would be what got us to a bowl game.
Andy and T9, have fun!!......I am dying to talk to someone, "the boy" is in Chicago for a wedding (who gets married on a foot ball Saturday??? And yes, he is a Michigan Alumni!) I didn't go for a variety of reasons, one of which was it was a game day! Thankfully he didn't force me to attend!

That was one of the most pathetic three play calls I've ever seen. Sure ok you're on the 1 yard line but wtf you don't run up the middle three times in a row when you can't run up the middle in the first place. That shows that they have no confidence in Threet not throwing an interception from his endzone. Sad.
And now we're more fucked if Graham is hurt bad.
Hope Hamm, simple hope that by some miracle we could actually win. Aside from Michigan Football, there are all the other games today as well, particularly the Texas game. I thought it was the unwritten rule.....no weddings during CFB season.....unless of course you are "whipped" :o) I didn't count on not being able to watch the game though!

They went for it and it was an easy pass interference. They can replay it all they want and in slow mo it doesn't look bad but what the ignorant BTN announcers don't realize is that he nailed him with his body not his hand which is clearly still pass interference. Tied game with a minute 30 left. Who sees a classic disaster of missed tackles setting up a game winning field goal for Purdue?
Northwestern is going to beat Minnesota!

i gotta disagree w/ you.
i actually thought this was one of their better schemed games. we had players in position all day- they just missed the tackles.
for example- before Purdue tied it @ 28, Purdue had a 4th & short. we had Siller cornered in the backfield- two guys whiffed the tackle- & Siller made the 1st down.
same w/ the last TD! we're in man coverage & rushing agressively. i'm pretty sure the coaches did NOT tell the DBs to abandon their coverage like that. the players blew it. again.
we missed tackles all day. i suppose we can blame the coaching for not being able to tackle. but i doubt that it's a lack of practice or instruction.
it's execution. and talent. and we don't seem to have much of either.
of our 22 starters, there aren't more than one or two (and i'm being generous here) that would start for psu or tosu. or maybe even purdue.
maybe Shaffer sucks- but i don't see how you can tell watching these guys play.
the one thing that may still be interesting- w/ no hope of a bowl, maybe we'll see more of Cissoko & Fitzgerald, and less of some of the under performing seniors (i'm talking to you morgan trent).
