Michigan retains the Little Brown Jug and goes to 12-0 all-time at the Metrodome. For the first time all year the Wolverines deliver four quarters of solid football. A wonderful balanced attack : 232 yards on the ground and 203 through the air. Plenty of people touched the ball, the most important in my opinion was Justin Feagin, who had about 50 yards rushing from the QB spot. Our defense showed up too, limiting the suddenly toothless Gophers to only 188 total yards and two field goals. The only downside is the injury to Minor. If he is hurt for more than a couple of days it will be felt. We will need him next week against NorthwesternOh yeah, since we don't need any "healing" pics, I thought I would share with you my 2nd favorite brown jug(s) in the world...

What a great game! I was thrilled as a fan to get to see my team look good for 4 quarters, however I am even more happy for the kids, they never gave up on this season and have been playing their hearts out! I am thrilled that they have this win as some type of reward for "staying" in the season. Those who stay will be champions! (at least champions in my eyes!)
Andy, I have to admit, I do believe that she does have the best brown jugs around!
Holy Beyonce, Batman!
Great choice of pic.
IMO, the biggest thing to come out of this game is that i finally understand why the coaching staff started Sheridan ahead of Threet at the start of the season. Sheridan will never have great physical talents, but he really did show himself to be a heady, poised decision maker today.
Defense didn't look half bad either.
not that i'm not a big fan- she was a Bond girl, but ...

For the record, that is not Beyonce. I am a of her fan too, but Halle Berry is timeless.
sorry. didn't mean to imply otherwise. we were discussing brown jugs & the batman joke stumbled into the typing.
to set the record straight, "holy halle barry, batman", which isn't bad, either.
I am glad that Michigan played more of a complete game today. Sheridan did relatively well considering our red zone play could have been better but, hey, I'll take the points and the win.
I think we've got a great jump on next season now that the offense seems to "get it" and with the two QB's coming in and the red shirts that can give this team more depth.
The defense and it's coordinator appears to have gotten a better handle on running their schemes. If we can show some consistency on both sides of the ball for the next two games, we'll have something good to look forward to in the future.
Nice choice on the celebration pics. She is and always will be one of my favorite women. Go Blue!!
uhh, anyone else watching PSU let it all slip away??? 14 seconds from Joe Pa not really needing to know what BCS is afterall...
sweet jesus. psu actually blew it.
not sure which is the biggest surprise.
psu losing?
illinois losing?
michigan winnng?
I saw PSU choke.
Its been a tough season, I'm ok with a little schadenfreude.
oh the winds of November came early to the shores of Lake Erie and Pennsylvania
The only good thing about Penn State's loss is NO Roses for Sparty.....
have switched over to 'Bama vs. LSU
WOW
LSU blocks 'Bama's FG attempt with 3 seconds left
off to overtime!!!
I watched PSU kick the bucket (but agree with T9, no roses for MSU, ha!)
Then I switched to LSU vs. Bama (Grrr)
Lately it seems whomever I cheer for loses......
Ahhhh. PSU losing. Now that's something we can all toast.
wv = mopped (blue letters on white background. Too good to be true.)
PSU is always good for one F-up a year. They're like the east coast version of USC. They'll have great seasons and then bomb a game against a team they should beat handily. Time to pack it in Joe.
nice to see you honoring an Ohio native with your pic

I honestly had no idea that she was from Ohio. But that is perfectly OK with me, there are plenty of Ohio natives I like... Desmond Howard and Charles Woodson come to mind right away.
Don't forget Bo was also from Ohio.
