Fair and Balanced...

In an effort ensure that I am being fair to our friends in Columbus -- there was a bank robbery yesterday here in Austin. When I first saw the story on the news, my first thought was "Wow -- that guy looks a lot like Colt McCoy..."

I even got a couple of laughs out of the many Longhorn fans in the office this morning. I was making jokes about Colt "needing some extra cash" for his trip to NYC this weekend. We all agreed he did not need THAT nice of a suit, because he was not going to need to stand up during the Heisman ceremony.

Of course I was quickly reminded that Colt had a bulletproof alibi yesterday - he was busy at the hardware store bringing home the Walter Camp award.

Dooooohhhhhh !

Speaking of Texas, Sam McGuffie is gone, gone, gone. I bear the young man no ill will. I wish him luck and hope that he can stay away from future concussions.

Wow. That resemblance is too close for comfort.

Are you sure that ESPN program was live last night???
I thought it was pre-taped.....

And--
Best wishes to Sam McGuffie. I hope that he finds the right place for his education and the opportunity to play football. And that his family situation stabilizes.

That guy reminds me of Danny Sullivan the Indycar driver in the '80s.

Talk about fair and balanced... how is it that Graham Harrell was not a Heisman finalist?
