Superman loves Photoshop

With no Michigan football games this weekend to keep me occupied, I decided to play around with Photoshop (I am currently using version CS3) while I was watching college and pro games I really don't care about.

If you have ever experimented with Photoshop you won't be surprised that there is an entire ecosystem of third party plug-in add-ons to enhance this already incredibly complex image application. One of the more popular set of enhancements come from a company called Alien Skin Software. This particular picture was manipulated using the Snap-Art/Stylize product from Alien Skin. I added the "M superman logo" just for fun. There is such an endless array of things you can do I continue to blown away with every mouse click. This stuff will keep me busy with Wallpaper Wednesday selections for months.
I have included the original image (from the NY Times) of Brandon Minor diving into the end-zone against Ball State so you have an idea of what I was starting with. Also, let me know what you think ?

Looks cool but I prefer the real picture. I never have been one for all these weird visual effects. Furthermore I never will understand photoshop.

i'm sure you've already tried this, but neither the Inverse nor the Undo functions in Photoshop will correct your 2008 season :)

I've already tried it. It doesn't work.

nice one, sru.

I like all the fun with Photoshop. It is WAY beyond my capabilities.

Keep having fun with it, as we all benefit!!! :-)

Very cool! I am totally out of my league with stuff like that. How much would you charge to re-create my research mode? Mine looks like a second grader made it ;o)
