I feel a little dirty wanting to see an Ohio State win tonight in the Fiesta Bowl. I know it is only natural for most of you to root for Texas, but for me it is a little different -- I live in Austin and I have to put up with the Longhorn marketing machine all year long. I have tried to root for Ohio State before in the past and never made it past the 1st couple of plays before I started pulling for the other team. I am going to give it another shot tonight -- for the benefit of the Big Ten.

what is TOTALLY unfair is that you guys aren't on national TV much anymore so all of your embarassing defeats go unseen outside of the greater Detroit area.
i had to get directv, dish network and comcast to work together and make a special satellite dish/cable setup just to catch the Toledo game - and I'm in Chicago so it's not that far away.

Chicago....Chicago...Hmmm....I've heard that somewhere....Oh yeah, was that the team that thought they could hang with the Wings? First they get shutout 4-0 in Detroit and then in a national game, the give up a 2 goal lead to lose 6-4....with goal number 4 coming in the meaningless part of the game. Interesting it would be in the stadium that has given a city more heartbreak than any. When was the last time that stadium has seen a World Series? World War II was it. And who did they lose to that time.......Oh I don't know.

not a chicago fan mikoyan - just moved here for work a long time ago - although I've adopted the cubbies as my second team behind everything cleveland (born and raised there)
cleveland hasn't won anything in forever and neither have the cubbies so it makes sense

Both teams are overmatched on offense. Bucks should have scored more with all the yards they are piling up. Beanie Wells is a stud.

in the Florida, LSU and USC games OSU had good or decent 1st quarters, but then always completely fell apart in the 2nd to dig a big halftime deficit.
this has been a nice change of pace so far. We need to stop settling for FGs though.
from what i could see, nate williams barely played the entire first quarter. i was trying to look for him but didn't always remember
watching the game sick as a dog with 2 sons (5 & 9) jumping around the living room trying to tackle each other isn't the ideal viewing situation :)
Pryor really is not even an average passer.
Watching this game makes me realize that I am glad I don't watch the buckeyes very often.

Texas controlled the clock and dictated the pace. In the process they scored 2 TDs and made Ohio State look slow and gassed. Justin Boren would not like Mack Brown either -- because the Texas o-line is running to the line.
I should root for the bucks more often during the season.

Seriously I have never seen a team shoot itself more in the foot then Texas did all night. They would be steamrolling down the field and then they would just randomly lose 25 yards on one play. Also the greatest thing to happen to O$U all night was Wells getting hurt. Had he stayed in they would have ran the same one dimensional offense and would have succeeded in getting blown out again.
Andy that spot on the 4th down play was perfect if just a little short of where it should have been. When he caught the ball you can see the ball was past the 40 but just and they marked it on the 40 a little to the shy side. Either way at that stage of the game there's no way they could have overturned that call.
Boeckman made an ass of himself on almost every play he was in. I think O$U wins this game handily had they played Pryor 100% of the plays. But alas I revel in the heartbreak. SIC I suggest you bar all doors and windows as I'm sure all hell is breaking loose in your neck of the woods.

They seriously need to get some more sponsors. he first half I thought I was going to throw up from watching the new 370Z round corners again and again and again and again and again but then they throw rednecks and Dodge Rams at us in the second half. It's amazing a company that needed 15 billion dollars can afford to sponsor a BCS game. What gives?
