Ohio State tailback Chris "Beanie" Wells is giving up his final year of eligibility to enter the NFL draft. Wells issued a statement Thursday saying the move is in the best interest of his family and the future of the Michigan football program. When asked whether he thought Wells should turn pro, Coach Jim Tressel said, "Shoot, yeah." Rich Rodriguez stated after The Game this year that "He's a first rounder". I just wish the Lions needed a running back more than they needed a QB. I know I am still having nightmares from the last 3 seasons worth of Beanie Wells TD runs against Michigan.
In three seasons at Ohio State, Wells ran for 3,382 yards and 30 touchdowns.
In three games against Michigan, Wells ran for 423 and 4 touchdowns.
Praise be to Allah.
Edit: I just remembered that Benny made fun of him before he even played a down. We won't make that same mistake twice...

You just made my day Sru.
my only hope....
not as much talent as beanie but hopefully there are SOME similarities...
Pittman has a good junior year, rushing for about 1200 yards, Beanie gets a little over 500 yards in his freshman year. Pittman dominates against UM in his last game (over 130 yards and a TD) while Beanie rips off a long TD in his very first game against the Wolverines. Pittman leaves for NFL, Beanie stars.
flash forward a few years
