Goose-Egged

The Michigan baseball team is playing a series in Columbus this weekend. The first game (broadcast on the Big Ten Network) just ended and we got no-hit by Buckeye Sophomore pitcher Alex Wimmers. Final score: Ohio State 6 Michigan 0. Ouch.

Throwing a no-hitter is a special thing. Add in the rivalry game and it is even more of a big deal. Michigan fan or not, no matter how you slice it, this a great athletic accomplishment.

Hopefully we can get our bats going in the next game later today.
