Human Nature.

I don't care what you may or may not think of him as an individual or the veracity of the controversies around him, but there is no denying that he was absolutely the king of pop and his loss today, at the age of 50, is a tragedy.
An Icon.
An Artist.
A Man.

Rest in Peace.

Sad day. Farrah and Michael Jackson on the same day.

Was out for dinner at a local pizza place and they were playing his music. Say what you will about what a freak he became, he made some music.

Well!!

I don't care that you don't care what I think. In fact, I could care less about your uncaring attitude!

Now, what was the subject?

The King is dead.
Long live the King.

Elvis died years ago. Get over it.

I blame Dianna Ross for all his problems, especially in later life as he started to try to become her...

Well, saint, that is a basic problem with those who crave validation. It's a fact that you can't hurry love, no, you just have to wait.

Can't let this one slide as it was texted to us on the golf course. I guess since 99% of MJ was plastic they are going to melt him down and turn him into Legos so that kids can play with him for a change.

Call me heartless or whatever but this loss really doesn't effect me at all. I feel bad that he was sick but that's about all.

+1 to Hammmmm.
Sure the guy was a great talent in his day but would we all be shedding a tear and calling it a tragedy if it was OJ Simpson?

amazing artists with twisted lives who made a difference on our planet:

1) Van Gogh
2) Janice Joplin
3) Ernest Hemingway
4) Jerry Lee Lewis
5) The Sex Pistols
6) Mozart
etc etc

Have you started to hear the conspiracy theories yet??? that he faked his own death to get out from under public scrutiny, mountains of debt, and a 50 show concert tour he couldn't perform??? Why would they helicopter his body from UCLA to USC, allow filming of it from above to then put it in a van and drive him with minimal police escort to the morgue???? Don't make no sense. And, the family and the famous lawyer guy don't seem all that busted up about things..........

Let the Michael is hiding out with Elvis madness BEGIN!!!!!

I heard that they couldn't find his DR who had been treating him with injections so the scuttlebutt is the Dr killed him. Even though we all know it was the Butler with the poker in the drawing room.

It sickens me that Michael Jackson will get days devoted to his death and a man like Ed Freeman probably doesn't even make the nightly news.

Hammster,

You are right. However, you and Andy remembered him here which gave me great pause today. Thousands of readers come here daily just to see what's up. Capt. Freeman is being honored in many hearts today because you guys cared enough.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
