I have been looking for a reason to use this picture...Former South Carolina Kicker Ryan Succop made a name for himself in April when he was the last player drafted in the 2009 NFL Draft.
According to his agent, he is about to sign a $1.2M contract with the KC Chiefs. Keep in mind that NFL contract money is not guaranteed and the Chiefs have a decent young kicker. But at least I got to use the gamecock chicks photo.

Funny how the work "Gamecocks" has such a different meaning in different places like Carolina, a college frat house or a bar in San Fransisco.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the gamecocks. I found my wife down in Columbia when she was a co-ed there.
