Unfortunatly for me (and you) one of the songs from the movie worked its way into my head and would not leave. As a result, I decided to attempt to make something useful/funny with it. Warning this is not your typical "get pumped" video because it contains no rap or screaming guitar solo.

Video time
Summer time is family visitor time in my house. I recently discovered that one of my niece's favorite movies is Mulan. I never gave it much attention until it played about a dozen times in a row during a recent visit. For a kids movie, it really is not that bad.

Consider yourself lucky that she isn't addicted to Thomas the Train as is my son. Those songs are terrible and way too catchy!
Jeez Louise, c'mon September. Anymore of this and we will all go mad. Andy's entered the terminal phase of the non-football year. Like a Chinese firework his creativity is at max, but the next phase is total extinguishment.
In all seriousness, that was pretty impressive. You got me laughing out loud with the "Huns" shots.
However, I think you would have been closer to the mark with something from Clifford or The Velveteen Rabbit.
Let's see... My daily lists include. Sesame Street, Wordworld, Barney, CLifford, Curious George, and I throw in some Price is Right every now and then for sanity.
I've never seen Mulan but have seen practically every other Disney or animated movie. Woe is me.
Andy,
Great job! I have never seen the movie or heard that song before but your editing and timing were tremendous. I especially liked the "huns" reference and I am glad that whetstonehun got a laugh out of it.
Thanks.
For those of you that have attempted to watch the video, got sick of the song, and stopped it before the end -- I suggest you watch it to the end. I have included a pretty cool clip of Bo leading the 1986 Wolverines singing "hail to the victors" in the visitors locker room at the 'shoe.
BlueBob,
Don't call me Shirley or hon.
Whetstonehun
Just for you from Airplane:
Robert Hays: "Surely, you can't be serious."
Leslie Nielsen: "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley."
BlueBob,
Let me try. I speak jive.
+1 on the Airplane references.
+2 on the video montage.
-10 to Disney for the misogynistic undertones of yonder sound track. ;-)
the music with the video is, in the famous words of your son.... GAY!
HAAAAAA HAAAAAAA
ok ok
better than I could ever do--even if you did just call our team a bunch of girls
hope this doesn't go up in the locker room!!!
He didn't call 'em girls. Stick with gay. West Virginia influence and all that.
