Loyal Spawn contributor BigAssHammm emailed me last week about fantasy football.I told him that I no longer play fantasy football, but I would be happy to make a post and get the league filled with fellow readers. I have played fantasy football for something like 15 years, made the playoffs many times, but never actually won.
For me, it kinda ruins the Sunday NFL experience, because I am more concerned about how well "my" players are doing rather than watching the game unfold and rooting for my teams. That is my issue, not anyone else. Plus I always end up filling out my roster with Detroit Lions or former Michigan players and get pissed off at them for performing so poorly.
Hammm's email:
I have created a Yahoo Fantasy Football league for the upcoming NFL season. Live draft will be Saturday Aug 29th at 10pm EST. I made it open to 14 teams total with a 6 team playoff in weeks 15, 16, and 17. Yahoo is free to use and it's actually an enjoyable FF experience.

Did anyone see AJ Trapasso pull off the most awesome fake punt TD in NFL preseason history last night?
:-)
wv=gotal. as in "Got Al?" Raiders fans answer in the affirmative
Wow.
I just watched it here.
I thought it was "common knowledge" that all B10 guys were slow ?
You know they pulled that play because the game was in Canton. I don't think you'll ever see that actually in the season.
Let's get some people in the league!
I do one fantasy league.
Will be 11 spots still available as of right now.
This is free and takes minimal effort. Totally for the fun of it. Maybe T9 will throw in some vaunted "Spawn points" for the winner.
