Even the Lions can't wipe the smile I have after the game on Saturday. I thought the student section "block M" this year was a vast improvement over the previous attempt. Moving it out of the corner helped. Nice job to those that organized this, it looked great on my HD TV.

I'm working on organizing a big "L" for the Lions game. I hope people don't take it the wrong way.
block M is impressive but I'll REALLY be shocked if one of these days everyone who has a ticket which says "MAIZE OUT" actually wears yellow.....
and produces a Maize Out.
pathetic that the rest of the stadium goers can't get it together.....

While I was watching the Sparty/CMU game saturday, ESPN panned a section of the CMU fans and I saw a single person, dressed in michigan stuff, jingling his keys while the other CMU fans were screaming their heads off.
I wish I would had gotten a screen capture. Maybe if ESPN plays it again, I will grab it.

We had a couple of young ND fans sitting behind us on Saturday and they commented about how cool the block M was in the student section. I was surprised at how polite they were. We had fun razing each other back and forth and they were very quite at the end of the game. I give them credit, however, because they stayed in their seats and took in all of the celebrating and did not run off and hide.
In general I have had good experiences with people that actually went to Notre Dame. My Irish horror stories all come from drunk idiots that have never even driven by south bend.
I found the replay of the CMU/MSU game. I will have the "key michigan fan" tomorrow.
I too was very impressed with the M. It looked well done and almost professional. That said in a way it's sad that they do that or the "maize out" as those are all things we are copying from someone else. In both cases notably Penn State.

I wish I could help you out. The picture is a screen capture from the TV. Unless the blimp had a photographer and he can sell it, I don' think you are going to get any better.
