Watched a little college football today but then went to the Michigan hockey game. They beat Wisconsin 3-2 and also beat Minnesota on Friday night 6-0. They are starting to play better than they were earlier. Both these games were relatively quiet since the students were not there because of the holiday.
The biggest news of the weekend for me so far is that they cut down the big pine tree in the Pioneer parking lot and it looks like they are going to start some major construction project. We have tailgated right at that tree for years and now it is gone. I have not sent an email to the rest of our tailgate group yet but this is a big deal for us. I blame it on the switch to Adidas.
Unreal performance by Toby Gerhart against Notre Dame. Jim Harbaugh has something special going on up there.
