Welcome to Michigan

At some point in the next 24 hours there will be a horde of scarlet and grey barbarians pouring over the border. The anticipation of a record 6th win in a row over the hated wolverines is almost too much for them to take -- and many of them will need to drop a duece at some point during their visit. Based on the gameday experience in Columbus we wanted to make sure our visitors understood the local sanitary customs and expectations.

Honestly, I am a bit concerned about my safety this weekend.
Mainly because if one of those tUOS fans gets in my grill to gloat or otherwise be buckeye-like I may get arrested for assault.....

Andy, I may need bail money....

T-9,

Burn that old couch you have as patio furniture. It's always cheaper to get a new couch than pay bail or worse.

Now you see the wisdom of Columbus.

I hate it when Ohio trailer trash comes into Michigan. On Sunday, after they leave, we have to fill cropdusters with Lysol and spray down the whole town.

but you're fine when west virginia trailer trash comes in to your state to coach your football team??

Dang Sru, You really are annoying!

Remember if you do come to our state....Our cops are quite the assholes that your cops are. Please don't litter (besides bringing yourself of course).

they say it's more dangerous to shake an Ohioans hand than it is to get shot by one.

Sru, you and so many others!! I can understand to a degree, I love to see tOSU lose (as well as ND and MSU), I just don't go on their blogs and share it! :P

At least on M blogs we are civil to our rival lurkers. If you were to go on any of the TUOS blogs I'm sure the profanity would rain down in abundance.

Don't forget about the FF update!

Sru,

That was pretty funny which is why you're getting grief.

C'mon compadres, admit it, that was clever as well as funny.

Catie, don't you see why we hang out here? We love you guys.

Trolls stick around because people acknowledge their comments.

Don't feed the trolls.

So cynical.

Andy,

Great pic of Welcome to Michigan, but one problem!!!

You expect the Suckeyes to be able to read?!?!

GO BLUE!

whetstonebuck said...

Corey,

All we need to "read" are the keys in your offensive and defensive schemes. Should be dumbed down enough even for us.

Sru and Whets leave some pretty funny comments and refrain from the usual four-letter laced diatribes seen on most sports blogs. For us, self-deprecating humor is sadly becoming the norm.

HP,

You all will be back. Just a matter of time...and a few angry alumni. Hope springs eternal.

I'm hoping we can win a ####### BCS bowl.

Whets,

Who would you take out of Stanford/ Arizona/ Oregon/ Oregon St.? I would think OSU fans would be pulling for Zona or the other other OSU (the other being in Oklahoma).

I hope that were not back in the sense of Notre Dame as much as back in the sense of USC in the early 2000s.

HP,

That's a tough one. I would choose UofA as an opponent because I actually took a class there and attended High School in Tucson. However, I would be sorely conflicted. I would still root for OSU.

I attended a game between OSU and UofA a few years ago. The Bucks won. The occasion was marred by some drunk UofA fans who were taunting us. The fight began, but my son stepped in and threatened to arrest the lot of them. They moved to different seating.

Which Oregon team would show up? I'd like them if the bad duck is on deck.

Either OSU would be fine with me.

My dream match-up was tOSU vs. Cincinnati. Unfortunately, that can't happen.

OSU/Cinci would be fantastic. I love listening to the trash that AM700 guy says. Its humorous folly. I think the most exciting match-up would be Stanford followed closely by Oregon. You'd wipe the floor with OrSt and Zona.

I love those radio spots out of Cincy. Good for the sport and good for the state.
