My wife loves NYC so we've been there a bunch of times. Hell of a city with a ton to do. Very easy to blow through a large sum of money though. I'm really really hoping this Bowl Game in Yankee Stadium turns out to be real and the BIg Ten takes part. It would be very easy for me to persuade the wife to go to it if Michigan were playing.
New York is pretty cool. My dad and I went there a couple years ago for me to finally see a game at Yankees Stadium (II). I now need to go see Yankees Stadium (III).
We were there one summer and tried to go to a Yankees game. Turned out they were playing the Indians too. Finally found the right subway to get there and walked around the stadium trying to score tickets. The cheapest anyone would sell to us was a 100 a piece and we said f that. Sadly that was my only chance to see a game in the old stadium. I'll never pay the prices to go to this new one either. Maybe next time we're there during the summer we'll try to catch a Mets game. We've also attempted to go on the Aircraft Carrier museum countless times (name escapes me think it's the Intrepid.) Everytime we either run out of time or once we just couldn't find a place to park anywhere near it so we could walk to it. It's on our list of things to do.

No apologies necessary. Enjoy the time with your wife.
New York, huh? Are you sure that's not to throw us off the trail? Rumor has it you're interviewing at South Bend.
