Zoltans Heroes = Spawn Bowl Champs

Congrats to Zoltans Heroes for winning Spawn Bowl I.

This always happens in fantasy football. The stars of the NFL typically take week 17 off and the players that dominate the bulk of the season are not a factor. Zoltan got a 38 point performance from KC Chief RB Jamal Charles and almost 20 points from Kyle Orton.

Top performers for our league:
QB = 349.96 total points Aaron Rogers, Bigassham
RB = 342.90 total points Chris Johnson, Smooth Operators
WR = 213.90 total points Andre Johnson, Zoltans Heroes
TE = 174.50 total points Vernon Davis, 9 Finger Freaks
K = 156 total points Nate Kaeding, He Hate Me
Def = 252 total points New Orleans Saints, nobody

Yea playoffs in Fantasy Football is all about Free Agency. Trying to pick up the best guys available to get you through to the next round. Was a great and fun season all year and hopefully we can double the participation next season.

This was my first try at fantasy football and it was fun. I let the computer pick my team and made only a few moves during the year but ended up with the most total points in the regular season, although I was in second place by a few games. The playoffs were a real challenge due to the teams resting players and it stung the Defenstrators. Congrats to Zoltans Heros. I agree with BAH and hope more join in next year.

I had Charles the past 6 or so weeks on my team. That was not an anomaly. He was a must start the entire time.

Congrats to Zoltan's Heroes. It was frustrating to start essentially a new team for the final game. I know some leagues play the championship game in week 16 for just this reason. Meh. Good season overall, and fun. Count me in for next year.

He and Jerome Harrison for the Browns became big time Fantasy prospects at the end of the season.
