University Police reported yesterday that Michigan Stadium was vandalized this weekend when a strip of the block ‘M’ on the 50-yard line was stolen. The incident was reported by stadium staff at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Diane Brown, spokeswoman for the Department of Public Safety, said the stolen strip was a 6” by 4’ piece on the edge of the ‘M’ and that there was some damage to the surrounding area. Damages are estimated at approximately $1,000 to repair the affected area of the field. There are no suspects or leads, but the incident is under investigation. University Police are unsure how someone was able to access the field.

Somewhere there's a frathouse with a nice new wall banner.
ohhhhh
i thought they announced that UM was bringing power house Idaho in for a home game. They're no Delaware St or UMass but they'd put up a fight.
Yeah... we couldn't get Youngstown State or New Mexico State.
The Ann Arbor police have a list of suspects based on potential retaliation for a story posted on Spawn yesterday.
The list includes:
1. An onion farmer
2. The Mets mascot / assisted by his gay cousin Brutus
3. A snake
4. Mark Dantonio (see #3)
5. The hockey team practicing for the Big Chill game.
Note: Number five was disallowed by John Gravallese.
The investigation continues.
I am waiting of the FDFP to launch an investigation into the rumor that Jim Tressel took the carpet.
JT decided since he "owned it" - he should be able to move it anywhere he wanted it.
Well if there are sweater fibers around the area, they have thier suspect.
it's going to come out later that they've arrested justin feagin for attempting to snort the yard lines
Feagin? Snorting yard lines? Cause they're white? Like a line of coke? I get it! Wow that's clever.
There's a Jamal Berry dealer level possession joke in there somewhere but it's just not worth it. After a decade of tosu convictions it's almost routine now.
It was that (insert choice of expletives here) Drew Sharp!
