Just bought tickets to the Big Chill for my first ever trip to the U of M for a sporting event (pending I don't go to a football game this fall first). Hopefully I'll be there, if not they'll make a nice gift to the fam, or ebay here I come! Go Blue!!!
Shorty you definitely should make it up for the game. If nothing else it will be history. GoBlueBob is in the process of securing our tickets among many others he's buying so we will definitely be there. I'm going to really try to make a football game this year as I didn't last year but we have a newborn on the way in the next 5 weeks or so and that will make it difficult come August.
Shorty... Happy to see that you are going to the big chill game. I purchased tickets today also. Yes Hammm, I got yours & will email you soon. I found out from the ticket office that they have sold enough tickets already to break the record for a hockey game so if anyone wants tickets I would do it soon. Go to MGoBlue.com and order public tickets. If you are a season football ticket holder you can get slightly better seats.
The hockey game is going to be huge fun.
T9 and I are planning on going and sitting together. It looks like there will be a decent number of regular spawners in attendance. Maybe we should put together a tailgate plan? I would be happy to bring beer and snacks.
Anyone notice my Twitter experiment on the side bar. Up until yesterday, I had no idea what tweeting was all about. I've said it before and I will say it again, technology is fucking cool.
