I don't know....You've got Clarett driving around in a Hummer and Tyrell Pryor driving around in something else. You had Mr. Blutarsky with a 0.0 grade point average (Kamerzell, I believe). And a number of arrests. Not to mention the Buckstache. But hey, Michigan practices a little extra and lets go after them. And one wonders why the NCAA seems like a sham. And just so it doesn't seem like I'm going after a school to the south, we mustn't forget Mr. Carroll leaving a cushy job for the NFL....I wonder if something is going on there too.
But whatever, the NCAA gets their show trial and Michigan gets sentenced to Siberia until they are rehabilitated.
The evolution of this story has been incredible to watch. It boils down to down three perspectives:
1) If you are a Michigan fan, you think the allegations and rules violations are petty. You recognize errors were made and believe the self imposed penalties fit the crime. Most importantly, you want this to go away.
2) If you are are Michigan hater, you believe RR and staff burned and pissed on the rule book on a daily basis. You are rooting for the NCAA to come down on us with a SMU like death penalty. You want this story to continue to smolder for years to come.
3) If you are a neutral bystander, you don't understand what all the angst is all about.
For all the talk of "student-athletes", why do I get the feeling that in the sports of football and basketball, the NCAA is only concerned about the money? I mean if it were all about the athletes, they'd ditch the BCS and leave the bowl game for what it's intention was....reward a decent season.

funny how at the end of this all, it's all going to come down to W's & L's.
win less than 7? and we have a problem.
win 8 or 9? and most won't care.
win 10 or more? and most won't remember any of this.
