Tonight at midnight, EA sports releases their latest and greatest version of the popular college football game, NCAA 11. My son has already pre-ordered his copy and I am sure he will be up earlier than he has been all summer to pick it up at BestBuy. By noon, he should have his first National Championship under his belt.If you have not bought the game in the past couple of years, reports from the gaming community say this might be the year you need to get the new game. Improvements in the transitions, the addition of QB vision cone and player locomotion will be interesting. And yes, they have updated Michigan Stadium to include the new press box/suite structure.
The biggest issue for me at this point is the inclusion of Denver Bronco kick-returner Tim Tebow on the cover. Don't worry, there are plenty of custom covers available to replace the future NFL bust.
Custom Cover genius BIGDMO has a great collection, including Tate Forcier in all game consoles.

Denard Robinson is also available in a couple of different versions, one from cazihead and another from Spartyon6686.

And for those of you looking for an "old school" touch, veteran cover maker easportsfan1 made this Tom Brady version for PS3.
and finally, I created a Brandon Graham version this morning.
You can download my full version here.

awesome
I may go buy this game tomorrow. Not sure. Will depend on if the wife lets me :)
I will definitely be using a custom cover if I do make the purchase!
2 things I learned from trying to print my new cover.
1: Computers obviously passed me by years ago.
2: My printer sucks.
But I now am sporting Tom Brady on my new copy of ncaa 11 for PS3.
So my first overall impressions are negative. I was an avid NCAA player/buyer every year on the PS2 and ever since I've gotten the PS3 I have hated the games. They try and do so much to the game that it takes away from the overall experience. There's so much in this game that the menu interface is slow as hell and it lags when you are trying to navigate through the options. Plus apparently it costs money for some of the online content which is robbery in itself. These game creaters are getting out of control with the DLC craze and are raping the consumers wallets if they actually want to get it all out of their games. When you pay 60 for a game you shouldn't then have to pay another 10-15 every month or so to get the rest of the game. Tiger Woods is a prime example of this costing 10 a piece for additional courses.
My ranting is done.
The only thing extra for on line is for people that want advantages in recruiting, basically pay for easy recruits. Its not at all mandatory or necessary
Maybe it is because I am such an old fart, but I have never gotten into these kind of games. I do play a few card games on my PC and love minesweeper but that is about the extent of it. My NCAA football experience is primarily on Saturdays in Ann Arbor or at home on TV for Michgan away games.
Minesweeper?
You are an old fart.
Even T9 plays Grand Theft Auto...
I went to Ann Arbor early this morning and took advantage of the open house at the stadium. The suites are very nice and the club seats are fantastic. I cannot wait for the first game.
don't forget Halo !!!
and now, I am an Angry Bird addict
I hated the Halo. Oh, you are not talking about the stadium. Sorry.
I didn't like neither the stadium nor the game. I still can't understand why it's such a craze. They were fine single player games but the multiplayer is no different then any other run around and shoot em games.
I miss the Sunday Swimsuit
I went down to Dayton today. Wore my Michigan shirt and some ass booed me....Fuck...get a life.
Anyways...

Mik for whatever reason it won't let me comment on your thing with my google account. Think it may be a Firefox issue on my end. Either way those are great shots. That F-16 shot is amazing and the timing is superb.
I still strongly suggest any and all of you take the ride on the B-17 before the opportunity is past. Who knows how much longer there will be flying 17s and it's one of the greatest things you'll ever do in your life.
One of those very same B17s just flew over my house heading straight north towards Cleveland. Not sure where it'd be going up there.
I don't understand why you can't comment. Anyone can comment.
Which B-17?
I couldnt tell cause it was almost directly overhead but I'm thinking it was the Belle cause it looked darker.
Unless it was a totally different one since it was 2pm and the Dayton air show was probably still going on.
Saturday they were flying around 1:30, 2:00 so I would imagine they would have been flying at about the same time. So it's possible you saw the same plane. You have roughly a 1 in 8 chance of it being the same plane though.
Although for the life of me, I can't figure out why you couldn't post on my blog....the stupid Chinese spammers can...
It said something about not having cookies turned on?
Like I said I think it was a Firefox issue on my end not your blogs.
That probably means they flew for the air show then just immediately left the area to go to their next destination. Most definitely was the Belle then.
I am Spartyon if you want my updated cover here is the link: http://www3.picturepush.com/photo/a/4175346/img/NCAA-FB-11/Denard-Robinson.png
