The terrible news of Troy's ankle injury has me down today. We just lost our best player at a position we were dangerously thin at to begin with. I feel bad for the kid, I feel bad for the team, and I feel bad for us, the fans. The season has not even started yet.If you feel like turning your depression into something else, take a couple of minutes and read the comments from Sparty on this thread. Pathetic. I have many life-long friends that root for the jolly green giants, so I refuse to characterize an entire fan base with a blanket declaration of hatred. But come on... 9+ pages of laughter and jokes celebrating an injury of a rival player? I can not wait to whip those mouth breathers again and listen to them cry and moan.

One sad thing I've noticed from Sparty's blog. They link to MGoBlog all the time and never once have I seen anything quoted on MGoBlog from STG. They remind me exactly how every Ohio person acts towards me in public. Completely ignorant.
STG is the college football equivalent of The Jersey Shore.
When something happens I can't stop myself from going over there and reading the idiocy. They are so predictable it is shocking.
Damn!!! Where's a healing pic when you need one? A double...on the rocks, straight up, in a dirty glass.
For my healing pics I watched an episode of the Big Break Sandals resorts and watched a hottie from MSU square off against an even hottier from TUOS (wearing an awesome plaid skirt I might add) on a golf course. What could be better?
Being one of the proud "arrogant asses", I refuse to even acknowledge this kind of crap from them. It is always better to have your best against the opponents best and may the best team win. If I remember this correctly, even whetstonebuck has said this before. I hope msu does not win a game this year.
I am sure at least some of you have heard the Norfolk lymerics....
We are the girls from Norfolk,
we don't drink, smoke, norfolk.
Use your imagination and use Woolfolk and it will remind you of many girls from msu.
I'm drinkin' what Voice's drinkin' - hit me!
Rumors abound that Tate may transfer. I'm really not shocked at all if it would happen. To me the writing has been on the wall ever since spring. If he legitimately loses the starting role and 50% of the snaps and Gardner does not redshirt you can kiss his playing time goodbye. At that point why would he stay? I'm going to bury myself in a cave for the next few years.
I think if Denard has in fact improved his passing game, he is more of a threat than Tate. If he is just going to be used for running plays and Tate for passing plays, it's not going to be good because defenses will know what to do based on the Quarterback. I'll still stick by 7-5 thought.
As for the Sparty blog...why bother? Especially when you have one of them decrying the "classless" Michigan fans as they are gleefully celebrating the injury of a player.
Need 5 more teams for the FF league to be full. We're soon to have one more team than last year. Should make for an exciting year and closer matchups.
Working on a " sign up or die " post tonight.
