It was fun meeting both Bob and 616. Thanks for the beers and laughs.
It does not look good for Tate right now. I would be surprised if he even makes the trip to Notre dame next week.
Sad to see a kid go from "the savior" to the "quitter". I understand his disappointment, but You never know when opportunity will knock.

SIC, I agree he does look like Desmond in dreads! Boy was it good to see our team play GOOD, not just that the other team played poorly, but that we actually played GOOD! The Oline looked flawless to me, the D might have some problems, but they didn't look terrible! GO BLUE!

It was a great win but I'm not going to get to confident yet. Uconn played horribly on offense and should have shredded us in the air. They beat themselves. Our offense was amazing though.
I saw Tate after the game and asked him for a signature, i am only 16 so its not like im going to sell it or ebay it. But he told me "You dont need to worry about my signature anymore." What do u think that means? haha
The best part of yesterday...when the young man, who was given 1% chance of ever walking again, walked to mid field. That was awesome! I believe his shirt read, "Glory to God." Amen, brother.
As for the game...Denard was superb. I hope he involves the rest of the team more. The more he runs, the more likely he will end up hurt. And zero turnovers???
I hated seeing Tate sitting apart from the team during the game. But RR will play the best players - for that, we are all grateful.
Tate is acting like a spoiled kid and throwing a tantrum. That's not going to help his chances any better of getting on the field. He's alienated himself from the coaches and the team now. The writing is on the wall no matter what his dad says.
Big thank you to GoBlueBob as he called me Sat morning and gave me the good news that I have 2 tickets to the Iowa homecoming game now. Excited to make it up there and hopefully it will be a hell of a game and a win. Perhaps other Spawners can attend the tailgate again I'd love to meet all of you. Sad I wasn't able to attend yesterday's game and tailgate.

I would have met up with you guys yesterday but I got a late start and I wanted to get to the stadium early. I got there as the gates opened and as a result I got one of the commerative pins (which is *NOT* going on ebay).
Oh yeah, I don't mind if they become a wallpaper someday....
