Another day,
another Buckeye arrest...
My only question on this one is
Why the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel ? There are about a hundred other MUCH nicer places within 15 minutes of that location.
And before anyone tries to compare this to the Michael Phelps situation -- keep in mind that Phelps is a 23 year old kid and he was not arrested. Terry Glenn is a 35 year old man wandering around a flea bag hotel causing a distrubance.
Terry Glenn spent 12 years in the NFL after being a high first round draft pick. He has made millions of dollars over his long NFL career. You would think he would have enough on-hand cash to afford a better hotel room to party in.
I checked the
room rates at the Irving Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel -- and you can get a room for less than $60 per night. Yikes.
Ex-Dallas Cowboy WR Glenn arrested at Irving hotel By BRIAN DAVIS / The Dallas Morning News
Former Cowboys receiver Terry Glenn was arrested at an Irving hotel on Jan. 25 for public intoxication and possession of marijuana under two ounces, according to police.
Irving police spokesman David Tull said workers at the Extended Stay Deluxe Hotel called late that night about a suspicious person.
"I guess he was going up and down the halls," Tull said.
Glenn was arrested at 10:30 p.m., according to Irving police records. He also had four traffic warrants outstanding in Roanoke – one for speeding, one for expired vehicle registration and two for failure to appear in court. Glenn posted bond the next morning and was released.
Glenn played 12 years in the NFL starting in 1996. The receiver played for the Cowboys from 2003 to 2007 and caught 208 passes for 3,337 yards. He was released prior to training camp in 2008 and spent last year out of football.
Glenn did not return a message seeking comment. |

They don't post the hourly rates....
You must really hate the cowboys to be posting this stuff!!!
the only thing I like about the cowboys is the cheerleaders
The Cowboys suck....
It was reported he was going up and down the hotel hallway. Give him the benefit of the doubt....he could be a maid for the hotel. Oh wait, he went to tUOS. He would have never got a job with that much responsibility.
"He would have never got a job with that much responsibility."
Wrong again, Wal-Mart Wolverine. Just ask SiC about tOSU maids.
no buckstache?
SIC coyly forgets to mention that his maid that went to OSU is also his wife
So what! SIC is puting it to a buckeye. You're just mad cause it is't you.
Tom,
If SiC is calling his wife his maid, he ain't putting it to anybody. That is once she finds out.
I wonder if he calls her his, cook, laundress and concubine. This could get ugly.
Soon, he'll be calling her the plaintiff.
Good thing he's an attorney; he will get to keep some of his stuff.
The only thing I call my wife (who is a gamecock) is ma'am.
Andy,
I refuse to take the bait. Though the one-liners are zipping around my brain like atomic orbits.
I don't want my post to mysteriously disappear like the other night.
UM basketball looking solid today.
they lead by 1 at the half @ #1 UCONN
UCONN did pull it out in the end...but it was pretty close the whole way
also, OSU beat Minnesota in Columbus
wv=mandess (dyslexic translation - madness)
Come on whet...let me have it. I've got an itchy finger and foul attitude.
You mean fowl altitude, dontcha?
