Fail

I highlight Penn State, Michigan State, and Ohio State football players when they have legal problems. As such, I would be a hypocrite if I ignored when Michigan players run into issues.

Senior Running back Kevin Grady has been jailed for seven days after pleading guilty to violating his probation on his drunken driving conviction from last summer

Grady failed to properly report to his probation officers and failed to complete 24 hours of community service, among other violations. Rich Rodriguez has not commented.

Obviously, I don't have all the facts and background, but if I were the head coach, this would be the last straw with Grady. He would immediately be a "former Michigan football player". There is absolutely no excuse for failing to perform court ordered service hours.

Yea that kid's just a bad apple. It's a shame that a good program can't help turn that around like it does for so many other kids. It takes effort on the kid's part as well and he just didn't have it.

Is Nick Foles going to start for the Wildcats ?

whetstonebuck said...

Foles or Scott, Scott or Foles...

Hmmmmm. Pay your nickle take your choice. If Scott's passing continues to improve it would be his team as he has the better legs.

Some are saying Foles is the better choice for Dykes' offense and he will win out.

Stoops and Co. have suggested rotating the two in the first game to see who wins the position.

I guess we will find out in August.

Some kid named Brown out of Texas, son of two UofA alumni is coming in 2010. He's supposed to be the second coming.

Foles is from our high school in asutin. We are good friends with his parents. He originally committed to ASU and changed when Erickson took over.

He was a great qb at Westlake. T9 and I saw him take a team with little talent all the way to the state finals. He broke all of Drew Brees passing records here. D'Antonio screwed with him at Michigan State.
