Found this funny video game link of Rich Rodriguez WVU ninja recruit Noel Devine on EDSBS. Reminds me of the old TecmoBowl game I used to play in the early 90's.
Coach McGee's list of things an offense needs to do:
- Create mismatches : most common is slot receivers on OLBers or safeties
- Get the ball to your play makers
- Use Shotgun/so QB can see the defense
- Make the defense defend all skill players, including the QB
- Keep it simple for the O line, confused linemen can kill an offense faster than anything.
- Make the defense play in space

did you notice how the QB just stands there the entire play & watches???
that had to be John Navarre, despite the WVU uni. nobody else could stand slow...
If that's how bad the AI is in that game you can count me out. I don't have a PS3 yet but it was on my list of games to get when I buy one in Feb. Now maybe not.
some pretty cool back-side blocks though.....
I have not played that much NCAA 09 -- my son puts in 5-6 hours a day it seems like.
The defense AI on this video is obviously "dialed down".
