Order your copy today

The Winners Manual is the book OSU fans have been waiting for – filled with never-before-told stories from one of the most remarkable coaches in college football. This book provides a rare glimpse into the mind of OSU’s head coach.
Inside The Winners Manual, Coach Tressel reveals key principles which apply to achieving success in life both on and off the field.

If every book, in every library, in every city, in every state, in every country was checked out and this was the last thing sitting on the shelves, I would not check it out.

There is always something ironic about an athlete or coach in the middle of his career writing a book like this. I wonder if there is a chapter dedicated to Maurice Clarett or Ray Isaac.

Maybe included in the appendix would be this or the book can be dedicated to Robert Baker ?

The Law of Karma = Whatever you do to others - will be done to you, in this or any future incarnation of your soul.

like they say, "Karama"'s a bitch right Andy......

hold off on ordering "you copy" of The Winner's Manual until you're done reading Spelling & Grammar for Dummies.

typos? you're pissing on typos now?

you're becoming churlish.

Ya know, for a comic book, it has a nice cover.

i'm assuming Andy went to UM, like you, titleix, dabraylon (riiiight), etc so his spelling and grammar should be above reproach, no? unless of course he was a "student-athlete" there and is now an expert kinesiologist

Thanks for the spelling and grammar review. I appreciate your efforts to make this a more perfect place. I will readily admit that despite my Michigan degree am a pretty horrible speller (thanks a lot Microsoft Word) and very new with this blogging with words thing.

I have fixed the errors.

Your comments are always welcome.

andy - way to take the high road (seriously). look forward to this becoming as popular as Yost's site used to be - does he have links there to here? (deleted his shortcut when I realized he wasn't kidding)

sic - glad to hear your assistant has your back - hopefully she can manage her own Blockbuster Video one day, or just take over your store once you move on

Yes, this place is linked in the comments section of Yost's last post. Several of the "old crowd" (including me) still go there looking for a pulse.

The link to the old MZone is on our links column to the right.

I don't have the deep sense of humor or required research time that Yost did to make this "as popular"... But T9 and I are giving it a shot for now.

and I am soooo coasting on Andy's coattails right now.....
although I will have a science friday installment up tomorrow

and will begin Know Your Coach next week

I think that Yost is lurking (at least I hope so)
Perhaps we'll get a nibble from him during the season?

Except when it comes to the SEC. This chapter is written by Urban Meyer and Les Miles.

I've sent a copy to your new coaching staff. Like that would help. LOL

Not to continue any dicussion on grammar fascism, but shouldn't the title of the book be in the possessive form (ie. "The Winner's Manual for the Game of Life")?

I've only spent a few minutes thinking about it, but I'm almost sure there isn't an appropriate way to have "Winners Manual" unless there's someone actually named "Winners" (cue the tUOS trolling).
