Very nice videos. As I sit here on my day of detox. Hope everyone had a good weekend.
Ah... was able to celebrate 4th of July "American" style here in Switzerland. Got invited to the US Ambassador's place for his party. Nothing says Independence Day than eating gourmet hot dogs, hamburgers, empanadas (spanish??), and various other bites... not to mention free booze!
Man... I'm looking forward to August when practices will start up. I'm really looking forward to seeing what could happen this year. Not expecting much, but it might surprise me!
Decent write up on Michigan over at Espn's college football page. Complete with bad mouthing of Boren.

I'm looking forward to the season and have predicted 8-9 wins. Yep, book it. Given the level of training going on over at Schembechler and the inability of opponents to prepare effectively in the face of completely new schemes, I'm pretty optimistic.
and, I can't wait to see how my other 'favorite' teams in the Big 10 fare.

"Ohio State defensive back Eugene Clifford will be arraigned this morning in Hamilton County Municipal Court on two misdemeanor assault charges, court records show....This is not the first time Clifford has been in trouble. He was cited for marijuana possession in March 2007, while still at Cincinnati Colerain High School, and paid a $105 fine.
In December, he was suspended from the national-title game for violating an unspecified team rule. He also was one of several players who coach Jim Tressel held out of practice during spring drills for unknown reasons."

The very suggestion that RR "must make an example" of Kevin Grady to establish himself is ludicrous.
Now I am 100% against doing stupid things. I am more than against drunk driving. However, I am also against destroying a kids life because I need to send a message to the alumni.
Mr. Grady and Coach Barwis need to spend some quality time together. He needs to sit out a couple of games. But he does not need to be booted to Grand Valley State.

Speaking of amazing - the BTN is showing this game as part of their greatest games package. I smile a proud big brother smile every time I watch it.
1998 Michigan St @ Ohio State: No. 1-ranked Ohio State leads MSU 24-9 with 10 minutes left in the 3rd. But the Spartans score the game's final 19 points, shocking the Buckeyes and their home crowd. Michigan St. wins 28-24.

(my Husband is being deployed to the desert- so my daughter and I are headed home while he's gone)

I know my little brothers, golden domer and sweatervest loving friends breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the demise of the mzone...but with stuff like this (and the mzone pics I sent you) we could have amaizing thing going on!

That happened to be the same day of one of our decade long beat-downs of penn state.
FYI, I graduated from Michigan in 1988 and have been a season ticket holder since. I've seen many tuos teams come into that big stadium and leave unhappy. I enjoyed each and every one (well, except 2) of the Cooper years.
Your time will come again... I just hope you are here to enjoy it.
Speaking of football games and attending this year if any of you have tickets and aren't planning on making a game let your ole buddy BAH know and he'll take those tickets off your hands. I try to make it to at least one game a year but with the baby this year I'm not sure if we will be able to. The wife is after me about money so unless I can find face value tickets on Ebay or wherever I'm out.
