For those of you that follow this site, you may have noticed that we don't generally discuss the bizarre world of college football recruiting. Don't get me wrong, I pay attention to the verbal commitments and de-commitments as much as the next crazy fan. However, following our post and eventual no-go decision of a uniquely named Texas high school QB last season we made the decision to stop talking about any high school player until they actually start playing for Michigan. There are plenty of places to get info on high school kids and if they are coming to Michigan or not. This is not one of them.
That that was all fine and dandy until we got this recent email from one of our readers. Corey is a Michigan alum and has a darn cute son. His son is two. Corey's mother thought it was time to get he and his cousin football uniforms just in time for the Spring Game. I think you will all agree that the logic next step for Rich Rodriguez is to offer a scholarship and get these two signed as future Michigan Wolverines.Hail !!!

Cuties. I will most likely be ordering a cheerleading outfit for my daughter this summer. She's really starting to get the Victors clap down which amazes and worries my wife. 14 months and going strong. I need to change my avatar picture.
Wouldn't it be awesome if these kids actually did grow up and play for MI. That would make this picture priceless.
Andy, I understand your hesitation about getting too worked up over a recruit because of the uncertainty. I think that's smart.
It is much easier at OSU to be certain about a recruit because cashing that alumni booster check usually makes it final.
This a form of child abuse. The authorities have been alerted.

Andy,
Is SiC posting under the pseudonym "Phil?"
I did some research and those pictures actually date back to 1992. The Mallet's and Boren's got together and thought it'd be cute to have their sons pose together at the local Picture People. A copy of that picture is still hanging in the studio with "Wolverines for Life" engraved below.
