"On the verge of a rage"

That's what MooU's coach Dantonio said about preparation for Saturday's game against tUOS at his presser this week:

Q. You mentioned emotion. In a game like this can emotion get in the way of execution at times? Is that any kind of a concern? And do you think your team is better at staying even keel, highs and lows, in games?

COACH DANTONIO: No, I've always thought you need to come prepared for a football game emotionally. You need to be excited. You need to be on the verge of a rage, as Coach (Jim) Bollman used to say. And that's the way the game is played, and you need to be very alert.
But you've got to bring excitement to the game. Our fans will give us that, our student section will give us that, and the situation will give us that. It will not be easy. Some people think that we've arrived all of a sudden, but we have to play every single game, whether it's this game or the next game or the next game. Every single game is a challenge for us, and I would expect that that's the same case for everybody in America right now the way I look around the country and see what happens on every given Saturday. You'd better be ready to go.

Perhaps we should start a betting line for little bro's bruhaha? You know, number of arrests, number of cars torched, number of police troops called in, number of couches destroyed, pairs of boobies posted on the internet, number of news wires that broadcast yet another post-game riot to the universe......

Honestly, that game can't end well for ANY of us. Moo U wins--riot ensues. And as someone on mgoblog pointed out too much verbal shit from little bro and his ability to beat the Bucks when we can't. tUOS wins--riot ensues and Sparty comes in here next week even more lathered up.

This weekend is going to be one big ol' embarrassment for the football fans in this state, I'm sad to predict. But, it looks like Happy Valley may be on the verge as well.....
