Remember the post early in football season about our "cheerleader of the week"- Kristy Something? CBS just cut to commercial with a close up of her. We are on a roll.
That was pretty cool to watch. To nervewracking at the end. And I'm sick and tired of national announcers dumping on Michigan teams. The Red Wings in the Cup finals it's all..."Pittsburgh this and Pittsburgh that". The Tigers in the World Series.."Oh the Cardinals are the greatest team ever..."....
the whole ed martin scandal happening was fate, luck, or karma?
you guys must have done some serious shit to have karma slap you like that
mikoyan - i feel your pain. thank god you guys won't have to worry about the national college football media ripping on the wolverines anytime over the next few years. i'm sure once you're eventually back playing a game that matters, they'll be all over you again though.
congrats on the win - i'd be surprised if either of us made it to the sweet 16 though :(
SO did anyone else notice that the team on the bench had shirts on that said QUEME LOS BARCOS on the back!???
AWESOME
One thing that impressed me was the guys' ability to stick with it even in the face of Clemson's scrappy in-your-face full-court press and general crazy man-to-man defense.
Yea ended up being called into work. Came home and through it on TV. Saw about the first 12 minutes then they cut to the Akron Gonzaga game. Which is cool for Akron but I could have cared less. The rest of the game was watched in super fast forward while watching the score at the top of the screen keep rising. Then the score plummeted. Then they cut back to MI with about 30 seconds left and I got to see the end. Woo.
Also can't wait for the commentating of the second round game when MI goes up against the Tim Tebow of College Hoops Blake Griffin. I'm sure it will be a laugher from the sports intelligence committee.

CBS switched to Minn-Texas. Arrrggh.
A-MAIZE-ing.
I don't think anyone would've ever thought at the beginning of the year that we'd make the NIT, let alone the NCAAs and win a game there.
Interesting the same year we snap our bowl streak is the same year we break the Curse of Ed Martin.
call it fate, call it luck, call it karma, I believe everything happens for a reason. ...
Go Blue, it was great to see them win, although when they lost the 16 point lead in the second half, I was getting a little nervous! Great win though!
wv= rinally (as in finally??!!)
