Rich Rod wants everyone to make an appearance at this year's Spring Game in April 11th. In fact, there will be all sorts of sideshow events going on including the ability to tour the locker room from 8am to 10am. At 10 am you can watch a flag-football game played by alums. The blue team will be coached by Gary Moeller and the maize team by Jerry Hanlon. The Spring Game starts at 11 am and students will be herded (um seated) in Sections 24 and 25. And, of course, the band and cheerleaders will be there to fire up the crowd.The record attendance for a spring event goes to Alabama in 2007--estimated at 92,138. Rich Rod wants to break the record. Really? 100 K for the Spring Game?? I must be getting really old.......

There is nothing wrong with marketing the program.
This is no longer the Bo/Carr era -- where kids will just show up and play because of the cool helmets.
i wonder what flavor it was andy!? lol. i think touring the locker room would be awesome. It'd make the 3 1/2 hour drive from columbus... hell worthwhile. : )

How does it seem cheezy? I question why they haven't done something like this for years. Give the people something to get intereted in the off season.
once you get used to the coach having a twitter and facebook pages, the rest isn't so hard.
let's face it- we're all "old" from the perspective of a college bound recruit.

I know it is off topic, but the UM crowd at Kansas City sounds awful loud. (might be CBS' microphone placement, but +1 for some crowd noise)
They are getting the neutral underdog fans as well I believe. Where is our OKlahoma game thread? I've been throwing random posts everywhere. Scared hell out of the baby with my yelling at the referees. Someone is going to the hospital after this game.
