Well, if we don't make it, it won't be because they didn't play well in the clutch. Good end to the season.

Wow. I thought for sure we would lose today. Coach Beilein has done a great job getting this team to 9-9 in the conference this year. A couple of good recruiting classes and we will be something.

I still think we need to win a couple of games in the B10 tourney to secure a spot in the NCAAs.

If they could only secure a legitimate big man inside they would have all the pieces of a great team. Beilein is a great coach but they just can't do it without a big guy in the middle. I recorded this game as I worked all day and then forgot about it and totally ruined it for mself by coming on here. Oh well.

I saw the last minute of this game.....you guys were lucky that Tubby called that time out just before what would have been the tying 3 was made.

last I saw, you guys were on Lunardi's "last 4 in" list, so I'd say you have a decent chance of making it

in other news, Columbus just beat the Redwings 8-2 in Detroit

OG,
Not to mention that Cash had an unassisted hat trick. Moved back into 6th with the win.

Despite this bad stretch, I wouldn't worry about the RedWings losing to the BlueJackets in a playoff series.

I'm not sold on a bid just yet, despite what all the ESPN guys are saying (even Big Ten-hating Duke Vitale is saying we're in), however, what WILL piss me off is Arizona getting a bid ahead of us. Arizona is a team very similar to us - same overall record, same conference record, but our road record is slightly better, as is our record against the RPI top 50. Not to mention that our RPI itself is way better, as is our strength of schedule.

So to say that Arizona is better than us is so blatantly false. The only thing they have is their record against the RPI top 25, but both us and them have the same number of wins against that group (and we just played more RPI top 25 teams than they did).

Andy,
you might not "worry", but i don't know any Red Wings fans who want to see the CBJs drop below 6th.

of the teams in the lower half of the top 8, i don't think there's a team Detroit would want to play in the first round LESS than Columbus.

i'm just saying...
