No Mercy

Unfortunately for Team USA the highlight of tonight's World Baseball Classic match-up against Puerto Rico was the playing of the national anthem I shot in this photo. It was all down hill after this moment, they got mercy-ruled 11-1... despite the ass-kicking, we still had a great time.

Watching a baseball game involving any team from the Caribbean is a dramatically different experience than your standard baseball game. The music, dancing, drums, and general merry making reminds me of a college football game. I guess it doesn't hurt when your team is beating the living crap out of a team of supposed all-stars.
