Ah yes another Saturday another case of beer and the blues. Realizing that there's 4 quarters of football and not 1 half. That the defense will eventually fall to pieces. That Sherideath will inevitably throw at least a TD pass, to the other team. But I digress so far so good.
Ford Field is a nice facility. Went to see Akron U play in the Motor City Bowl there a few years back. Was a hell of a game and a very enjoyable time. Even if downtown Detroit is scary as shit. BTW Akron U will be playing it's final game in The Rubber Bowl on Thursday. Game will be shown on ESPNU. I have literally grown up watching games there and it will be missed. We will be there to send it off. Plus there's not many Div 1 college football games you can go to for a dollar a ticket!
Had a few friends who played for Mt Union a few years ago. They have been good for some time. Surprised their coach hasn't been moved up to a higher HCing position.
So far so good. 6-0 in the 2nd. The gophers offense looks like our offense.

Seriously 41 out of 46 comments go to T9 and Andy?!?!? Watch the game guys. I have been waiting for when Feagin throws the ball. The second to last time he ran it they had almost 9 guys right at the line of scrimmage. All he has to do is fake run and back up and throw and someone has to be wide open. All in all a decent performance so far. If Sheridan could lurn how to throw spirals he might not be that bad of a QB. His passes still look pretty bad even if they've been on target.
And yes Pam Ward sucks. I thought she was an ESPN2 only announcer. Was pissed when she was one at the beginning of the game. Listening to her monotone drawl throughout the game makes my dog whine.
