Happy Thanksgiving

We want to wish all of our Spawn of MZone readers a Happy Thanksgiving today. I plan on spending the entire day watching football and wondering why each and every day could not be like this.

This year I am most thankful for: 1) Miami's inept offense 2) Wisconsin's 2nd half meltdown and 3) Minnesota's allergy of the endzone. I am also thankful that Beanie Wells might be the Lions #1 draft choice and hopefully I won't ever have to see this again.

Please take a moment and let us know what you are most thankful for.

I am thankful for my wife, and all of the people that were there for me when I couldn't see this summer. I am thankful that daughters tour is almost over. I am thankful that I was right. We lost and they still suck.

I am thankful for my wife and four kids (three sons and one daughter in law)and that they are all Michigan fans.

I am thankful for Michigan football tradition. Even in this down year there is no other college team that I would rather support.

And, I am thankful for Andy and T9 keeping things going with Spawn and Yost and the original crew for getting MZone started.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Go Blue!

I'm thankful for life and my family and friends and all those kind of things.

I'm also thankful for football, candy buckeyes, the nice combo of the colors scarlet and gray, and 5 straight victories in the best rivalry game around.

i'll second Ohio Guy on the candy buckeyes.

my son, circa age 8 (2000 season), was always puzzled when i brought home "Anthony Thomas" buckeyes. he couldn't understand how (or why) michigan's tailback would have a candy making company that made buckeyes.

i'm thankful for him, the daughters, and even the buckeye wife.

btw- anyone else watching macy's parade catch the band from hawaii performing the war chant? shame the next band didn't play temptation!

I'm thankful for founding fathers that had vision:

"It is the duty of all Nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for his benefits, and humbly to implore his protection and favors."

–George Washington, Thanksgiving Proclamation, 3 October 1789

And my family and everything else we have in these trying times.
I'm thankful for everyone here. They give me something to do during the dy and build great freidnships. I was most thankful for Bob's tailgate at the NU game!

It was a hard thanksgiving for me as I really didn't get to see my family much. Pretty bummed right at the moment and feeling blue. Will continue to drink medicinal beer and get over it. I'm also bitchy because I'm tired and have to get up at 4am to work again tomorrow. Boo.
