The last time Michigan and Ohio State played a football game and one of the teams did not go to a bowl game following the clash was 1999.Ohio State finished that seasson 6-6 overall and 3-5 in the Big Ten, which was tied for 8th in the conference. The Buckeyes were knocked out of bowl contention when they lost in Ann Arbor 24-17 on a cold November saturday. I was in Michigan Stadium on that day sitting behind the Ohio State Band and a large number of red-clad Buckeye fans. After '95, '96 and '97 they had the same bewildered look that Michigan fans have today. How could this happen and when will this nightmare end ?
Three seasons later (in 2002) Ohio State went undefeated and won the National Championship. Michigan has gone 2-6 against the Bucks since.

a lot of times you will see OSU fans bring up the fact that while UM leads the overall series (57-41-6), OSU leads the series since 1950.
Well to build on that line of thought, here's an interesting fact...if OSU wins on Saturday, they will lead the series since 1927. From 1928 to now, the series is tied at 38-38-4.
nothing more comical than a tosu fan adding & subtracting. starting in 1980, Michigan leads the rivalry 15-12-1. starting in 1990, Michigan leads 9-8-1. Michigan's record in the '90's was 7-2-1. if tosu wins saturday, that will make their record for this decade 7-2, w/the final 10th game of the decade to be played in A2 next season.
On Talk radio today they said when they come back from a commercial they had something that would make Michigan Fans feel better about the OSU game, unfortunately I had to get out of the car and into class. I am very curious what this tid bit of information might be, anyone know?

Ah yes as the week goes along I will keep a running tally of shit talk I had to deal with at work. Last night I was frequented with one asshole who kept yelling O H and then several other people asking me how bad we were going to get our ass kicked this week? I just smile and nod letting the hatred build inside. I have already wrote Santa for a MI win. Not for the fact of M actually winning since it's meaningless to their overall record as a whole but more for the fact that I can be the biggest asshole ever if they somehow do. Sadly I learned a long time ago that Santa doesn't care and relishes in rubbing your face in the dirt. Also I might shoot my eye out.

How dare you demean John Cooper! He was a good man and a wonderful coach. You need to learn how to appreciate him the way we do up in A2! After all he was inducted into the CFB Hall of Fame! God Bless that precious man.
Srudoff unless you live in the heart of MI then you know not which is my pain. Even then when you're in MI and it's not O$U week the hatred lies between MI and MSU. In OH it is all the time hatred for MI. It could be the middle of June and I will get cussed out in public. It's sad really.
I was harrassed and picked on IN CHURCH on Sunday!!! I told them that God was gonna get them for not being nice!! They all told me that the game was cancelled. Why?! Because MI can't make it past Toledo!! UGH!!! I would love to win just to shut them up!! I live in Buckeye Central, it seems, and everything revolves around this week. I'll be glad when it's over-until next year.
